Questions

Everything you'd like to know.

How much does a commission cost?

Commissions begin at $5,000 for The Signature, our intimate acoustic arrangement. The Legacy and The Opus are priced according to the scale of production. Following your consultation, you'll receive a personal proposal with everything included — there are no hidden costs, and a 50% deposit reserves your place.

How long does a commission take?

Most commissions are completed within six to ten weeks, depending on scale. If your date is closer than that, enquire anyway — a limited number of priority commissions are held each season.

How personal does the song become?

Entirely. Every lyric is drawn from your consultation — the way you met, the phrases you use with each other, the moments no one outside your story would know. Nothing is templated, and no line is reused.

What if I want changes after the first listen?

Refinement is part of every commission. After your private first listen, we move through refinement together until the song is exactly right — the number of movements depends on the commission, and The Opus is refined without limit.

Can I commission a song as a gift?

Yes — many commissions are gifts, for anniversaries, weddings, and milestones. We'll work with you discreetly, and can arrange the reveal around the moment you choose.

Who owns the song?

The song is yours to keep and play for life — at your wedding, in your films, in your family. Licensing details are set out plainly in your proposal, including preparation for videographers.

Do you travel, or work remotely?

Consultations are held in person in New York or by video anywhere in the world. The song itself is written and produced in studio, wherever you are.
